The Heart Behind Monday Inspirations

Why I changed the name of my weekly email.

There was a moment, not long ago, when I paused and questioned the name of this weekly note.

I wondered if Monday Meditations might fit better.
Or if Monday Motivation truly captured what I was trying to offer.

And in that pause, I realized something important.

What I’ve always wanted to create here wasn’t about pushing forward, doing more, or becoming someone new.

It was about remembering.
Softening.
And learning to love yourself more deeply—right where you are.

Motivation vs. Inspiration

We hear the word motivation often, especially when a new week begins. And let's be real....

Motivation is usually about movement.
It encourages action, progress, and momentum.
It’s future-focused and often comes from outside of us.

And while motivation has its place, it can sometimes feel heavy, especially for those who are already giving so much of themselves to the world.

Inspiration, on the other hand, moves differently.

Inspiration doesn’t push.
It invites.

It arises from within and reminds us of what’s already true.
It opens the heart rather than demanding effort.
It doesn’t ask you to become more—it helps you appreciate who you already are.

Why This Is Now Monday Inspirations

When I looked closely at what these emails were offering:
the affirmations,
the soft morning practices,
the nature reflections,
the journaling prompts,
the evening moments of gratitude—

It became clear.

This space was never meant to energize you into productivity.
It was meant to support you in self-connection.

To help you:

  • Appreciate yourself more
  • Honor your emotional and inner world
  • Slow down enough to feel your own heart
  • And ultimately, love yourself more fully

That is inspiration.

A Gentle Offering, Not a Demand

Monday Inspirations exists as a pause at the beginning of the week.

A breath.
A reminder.
A moment to sit and connect with yourself before the noise begins.

You don’t need to do anything with it.
You don’t need to accomplish anything because of it.

If it simply helps you feel a little more grounded, a little more supported, or a little more at home within yourself, then it has done exactly what it was created to do.

Thank You for Being Here

Thank you for allowing this space to evolve naturally.
Thank you for showing up with your heart open.
And thank you for honoring yourself enough to receive something for....you.

With so much love,
Amanda
